What is Valley Interfaith Promise (VIP)?
VIP is a program that provides shelter, meals, and support services to homeless families in the Chattahoochee Valley area. VIP partners with local congregations and service agencies.
Our goal is to assist the families from homelessness to permanent housing and employment.
How does Valley Interfaith Promise work?
VIP accepts qualified homeless families for an initial 30 days. Extensions granted on progress & guideline compliance.
What does Valley Interfaith Promise provide for eligible families?
♥ Overnight accommodations
♥ Daily meals
♥ Opportunity to search and apply for jobs and housing
♥ Childcare through partnering daycare centers
♥ Transportation to school and /or work (if needed)
♥ Case management
♥ Shower and laundry rooms
♥ Connections to other local resources as needed
♥ Encouragement from volunteers
Who does VIP serve?
Homeless families with a child under 18 years of age.
How does a homeless family enter VIP?
Call the office to begin the application process.
VIP conducts a nationwide criminal background checks and drug tests.
VIP cannot admit families with outstanding warrants, violent felonies, substance or alcohol abuse.
